When Clontarf Veterinary Hospital first opened its doors in August 1995 its mission was to put the care of your pet first – always. Since then many things have changed but not our commitment to the welfare and well-being of all the creatures, great and small, that come through our doors.
As a result Clontarf Veterinary Hospital and its team has grown to become one of the most respected veterinary health care providers in the North Dublin servicing areas from Malahide to Marino. Our growth has been fuelled by three fundamental beliefs that govern everything we do, every day, all day.
The welfare of your pet is our first concern. As pet owners and long-time animal lovers ourselves we know what it’s like when the pet you cherish is sick and unwell. So everything we do is aimed at helping your pet get well and stay well.
Veterinary care changes – new innovations and revelations mean there are better ways to treat your pet being uncovered all the time. We know this and so we constantly invest in new equipment, new treatments and cutting edge education for all our staff. Our hospital is equipped with an operating theatre, X-ray facilities, ultrasound, endoscopy, blood pressure monitoring, air-driven dental station, multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring and modern gas anaesthesia. Our investment means that you can rest assured that your pet gets the best treatment available every time.
Third, it’s not just about sickness – your pet has lots of needs – from socialisation and training to preventive care that helps them keep well and get the most out of life. So our hospital offers much more than veterinary “fixes”. Our staff are trained in all aspects of animal welfare and we offer services such as puppy training classes, weight watchers, nutritional advise and our fully trained nurses are always at hand to give you helpful hints and advice on the care of your pet.
Located at the Marino end of the Malahide Road near Graingers Pub, Clontarf Veterinary Hospital is easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Fairview, Clontarf, Marino, Donnycarney, Beaumont, Santry, Raheny, Donabate as well as Malahide and Howth.
