Providing the highest standards for pets in Glasnevin
Botanic Veterinary Hospital was established in 1991 by Michael Hatton. A 1983 graduate of UCD, Michael went on to work in some of the larger veterinary hospitals in London and Hong Kong, later returning to his home town of Dublin. Botanic Veterinary Hospital was founded on the most basic of principles: to provide the highest standards of veterinary and patient care, to show compassion for our patients and their owners at all times and to continually invest and upgrade facilities and equipment to ensure that we provide the best veterinary care possible.
Facilities at the Glasnevin practice include two consulting rooms, operating theatre, preparation area, ultrasound, X-ray, endoscopy, a complete laboratory including haematology, biochemistry and electrolytes and, most importantly, our qualified team of staff who aim to provide lots of TLC to your best friend. All surgery, from routine neutering operations to complicated orthopaedics and internal surgery, is regularly carried out by our dedicated team.
The practice serves an extensive area encompassing Dublin 7, 9 and 11 and including Glasnevin, Drumcondra and Phibsboro, as well as Cabra, Finglas and Ballymun.
Botanic Veterinary Hospital is located on the Botanic Road in Glasnevin, opposite the Botanic Gardens and just up the road from the “pyramid” church. This was the first branch of Anicare Veterinary Group to be established. It is a fully equipped Small Animal Hospital with on street disc parking. The hospital is open 7 days a week.
We always welcome new patients and their owners! Call 01-8375543 for an appointment.
