Ciara has always been an avid animal lover and wanted to be involved in veterinary medicine since she was a child. She was also very much into art and painting but after much deliberation, decided on veterinary nursing and completed her degree in Dundalk Institute. She also has a huge interest in travelling and so directly after graduation she went on an adventure to Canberra, Australia. It was here where she discovered her love for Aussie wildlife especially the rainbow lorikeets and echidnas! Ciara returned home in 2021 and joined our team in Anicare soon after.
Ciara has always had family dogs growing up and thought she was 100% a dog person until two little cats needed a home last year. It was then that Siobhán and Declan joined her family and have very quickly (and easily) changed her into a cat person! She is looking forward to completing further research on feline focused care in the coming year. In her spare time Ciara can be found painting and making various crafts for her friends.
