Roberta D'Antone

Veterinary Surgeon

Roberta D'Antone - Veterinary Surgeon
Roberta D'Antone DVM GPCert(FelP)(Endo) Veterinary Surgeon

Roberta is originally from Italy where she graduated from the University of Bologna in 2012.

She moved to Dublin right after graduation for a “6 months work experience”... fast forward to today and she still hasn’t left!

She worked in the DSPCA and UCD, before deciding to follow her passion for cats and become a cat vet! She spent 6 years working in a cat only clinic took further studies into this subject and in 2018 was awarded with a certificate in Feline Medicine and Surgery.

Roberta is also a member of the ISFM (International Society of Feline Medicine) and strongly believes in cat friendliness and providing cats with the highest standard of care.

Wanting to be able to offer more minimal invasive options to her patients, she started studying endoscopy (when a procedure is carried out using a camera to look inside the body) and endosurgery (keyhole surgery) and was a awarded with a certificate in Endoscopy & Endosurgery in 2022.

Roberta has two pets waiting for her to return home from work: Duma, the 12 years old Italian ginger cat, and Fionn, the crazy 2 years old Irish Lurcher!

As any good Italian, Roberta loves cooking (and eating!). She also likes to spend her free time doing yoga, surfing and hiking.
