Aoife qualified from UCD in 2019 as a Veterinary Nurse. She grew up in Malahide, Dublin and always had a keen interest in animal care. As a student, Aoife completed her third year placement with us in Anicare and during that time discovered a huge love for small animal nursing.
The following year, Aoife returned to Anicare to work part-time while she completed her training. In 2019, Aoife joined us full time as a Registered Veterinary Nurse! Growing up in Dublin, she didn’t have much experience in large animal care but gained plenty of experience in both small and large animal nursing throughout her training.
Ultimately, following her experience with Anicare, Aoife decided that small animal nursing was what she was passionate about. She can’t wait to grow as a Veterinary Nurse and gain as much experience and knowledge while working with us at Anicare.
A lot of her love for small animal nursing comes from looking after her own cat, Kai. Aoife loves taking care of him and he is now a regular with Anicare as he completes his weight loss journey with Aoife and all our staff!
